At MarsBased, we believe in the importance of protecting everyone's privacy and data. That's why we don't set any cookies of our own. The one exception is the OpenAI advertising pixel, explained below.
Cookies are small data files that are stored on a user's device and can be used to track your online activity. While cookies can be useful for improving user experience and targeting advertisements, they can also be used to collect sensitive information about users without their knowledge or consent.
We value our privacy and yours too. Our own analytics (Plausible and Cloudflare Web Analytics) are cookieless and don't collect personal data or follow you across other websites.
OpenAI advertising pixel. We advertise on OpenAI, and to measure whether those ads work we load OpenAI's tracking pixel on our pages. When you send us a message through our contact form, the pixel reports that a conversion took place. OpenAI may store cookies or similar identifiers on your device for this purpose and processes that data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with any standard content blocker or your browser's tracking protection, and the website will keep working normally.
We are committed to providing a transparent and ethical online experience for you and, why not, an overall better experience altogether.
