Our Q1 2026 edition of the Martian day served as a timely reminder of the value of bringing the whole squad back to base. These quarterly gatherings are essential for us to synchronize, review our performance data, and ensure our technical trajectory aligns with the high standards we set for our work.
To kick things off, we’ve put together a video summary of the highlights and the atmosphere of these two days at base:
This year, our focus has naturally gravitated towards the maturity of our AI workflows. Rather than simply adopting new tools, we are focusing on the precision and depth required to integrate these technologies into complex, high-end software architectures.

We started the event with a day of hands-on coworking. In a remote-first company like MarsBased, having everyone in the same room creates a unique environment for high-level alignment. We spent these hours working side-by-side, sharing the nuanced architectural patterns we have been implementing across our various projects.
This shared time allowed us to ensure that our collective knowledge of AI strategies is consistent across the entire team. It was an opportunity to discuss the fine details of our technical craft and how we can continue to deliver the specialized depth that our partners expect from us.

The second day was dedicated to a thorough review of our Q1 2026 data and our long-term roadmap. As the industry evolves, our strategy remains focused on the "how-to-do-it-better," treating AI as a professional engineering discipline.
Our work for the coming months is built on several key technical pillars:
"Expertise is our baseline, and this Martian day reinforced that our strength lies in the architectural precision we bring to every project."
We closed the session with a clear vision and all systems green, ready to tackle the technical challenges of the next quarter. The transition toward ai-centric development is an evolution of the high-end engineering we’ve always provided at MarsBased.
Before incorporating the company, we operated one year in stealth mode. Here's a summary of how it went.
